About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Optical Engineer to help develop and refine our Direct Final Lens Casting process. You’ll work at the intersection of traditional optics and cutting-edge AR technology, solving problems that have never been solved before.
What You’ll Do
- Design and optimize freeform optical geometries for AR applications
- Develop testing protocols for integrated lens assemblies
- Collaborate with manufacturing to improve the DFLC process
- Work with customer engineering teams to translate their requirements into optical designs
- Prototype and iterate on new lens architectures
What We’re Looking For
- Education: MSc or PhD in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience: 3+ years in optical design and development
- Skills:
- Proficiency with optical design software (Zemax, Code V, or similar)
- Understanding of freeform optics and manufacturing constraints
- Experience with waveguide or AR optics is a strong plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
